Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy and your trust are important to us at Greater Rochester Diversity Council, and at our website www.rochesterdiversitycouncil.com ("Site"). This policy ("Privacy Policy" or "Policy") explains our approach to the privacy of information that personally identifies you.

Your use of our Site is subject to our Policy, as well as the Terms of Use. Please read this Policy carefully, because by using our Site, you consent to the use and collection of your personally identifying information in the manner described in this Policy.

Our Site provides you with information about our organization, our members, and about work force diversity issues. We collect, store, and use any personal information you voluntarily provide to us (including your name, mailing address, and email address) to communicate with you, provide it to other members through our member directory, and improve our Site and our services. If you do not wish to appear in our member directory in the future, please indicate this preference by checking the appropriate selection when creating or updating your personal profile. Although in the normal course of our business we do not disclose your personal information to third parties other than to other members through our member directory, we reserve the right to make such disclosures to investigate problems, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Use, protect the rights or safety of our company, users, or others, in the transfer, sale, or merger of our business, or otherwise as we deem necessary to maintain or improve our Site and our services. Other than as set out in this Policy, you will receive notice in the form of modifications to this Policy when information about you might go to nonmembers, and have an opportunity to opt out of such disclosure of your personal information.

Security
We use reasonable security measures to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure correct use of information. No data transmission over the internet or wireless network can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. While we try to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

You can access, update, correct, or delete the personal information that we collect and maintain about you by contacting Greater Rochester Diversity Council.

Choice
You can always choose not to provide us with any personal information, although it may be needed to access certain features of our Site or benefits of membership. If you do provide us with personal information, you may elect not to be contacted by us or included in our member directory by so indicating when creating or updating your personal profile.

Our Site is Not Intended for Children
Since have no way of distinguishing the age of individuals who access our Site, we implement the same Privacy Policy for Site users of all ages. However, our Site is designed for those with work force development responsibilities not common to children under 18. By using our Site you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. If a child has provided us with any personally-identifying information without the consent of a parent or guardian, the parent or guardian should contact us to remove the information from our records.
