Tony Burroughs is a professional genealogist who has been teaching genealogy at Chicago State University for 15 years. He consulted on the Reverend Al Sharpton/Strom Thurmond and Oprah Winfrey genealogies, and The Real Family of Jesus documentary. He was a guest expert in Oprah's Roots (PBS 2007), African American Lives (PBS 2006) and was the genealogist in search of the family of Jesus on three continents in, The Real Family of Jesus. |

Rochester City School students in grades three through six are being invited to participate in the Underground Railroad Conference Literacy Project. The project seeks to reach children early in life to educate them on their cultural heritage. |
