Phoebe Eng Speaks at Bausch & Lomb

Phoebe Eng, national lecturer, social change strategist, and author of the critically acclaimed Warrior Lessons spoke to Bausch & Lomb employees December 12th. Also in attendance were guests from Eastman Kodak and West Group.

Phoebe spoke about Cultural Fluency: The Keys to Success in the 21st Century. One fact she shared is, "A recent audit attempting to capture the dollar loss of "un-fluent" workplaces by a Fortune 100 company revealed worktime losses of over $150 million. This sum consisted of worker time spent on workplace grievance processes, time spent on miscommunication due to cultural differences, and employee stress over arbitrary evaluation and review processes, and other related activities." Signed copies of Warrior Lessons were given to some attendees.
