Bausch & Lomb and Kodak are Top Winners in Profiles in Diversity Journal International Innovation in Diversity Awards

Profiles in Diversity Journal announced the winners of its first annual International Innovation in Diversity Awards, recognizing and supporting those companies that are investing, development and fostering diversity initiatives that bring the entire company into alignment with the values of a diverse business culture.

This year's top three winners are:

  • BMO Financial Group / Toronto, Ontario (BMO)
  • Bausch & Lomb / Rochester, N.Y. (BOL)
  • Eastman Kodak Co. / Rochester, N.Y. (EK)

The challenge for many global companies today is communicating with its diverse employees across the globe. Bausch & Lomb, a world leader in eye health with about 11,500 employees in more than 50 countries, is constantly searching for ways to improve its communications. Using the latest broadband technology and incorporating streaming video, the company launched Bausch & Lomb TV last year.

Eastman Kodak Co., uses its Global Diversity and Inclusion Personal Qualitative Factors Assessment (QFA) to allow executive leaders (the top 14 in the organization) to capture and document their level of engagement and participation in diversity and inclusion.

Rounding out the top 10 winners are: Booz Allen Hamilton, Cisco Systems (CSCO), Ford Motor Co. (F), Georgia Power (GPWEP) , MGM MIRAGE (MGG), New York Life, and Waste Management (WMI). Honorable mentions were awarded to Merck (MRK) and Sodexho (SDX).
