& Lomb Ranks in Top 10 Companies in U.S. for Gay,
Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Employees
Bausch
& Lomb ranks seventh among the Top 10 companies
for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered employees
in the U.S., according to a report by DiversityInc.
magazine.
The magazine ranked companies based on a number of criteria
including domestic-partner benefits for same sex couples
and strong non-discrimination policies.
The
Top 10 Companies for GLBT employees are: Xerox, JPMorgan
Chase, IBM, Prudential Financial, Hewlett-Packard, Eastman
Kodak, Bausch & Lomb (No. 47 on Top 50 Companies
for Diversity), Citigroup, Verizon Communications, and
Ford Motor Co.
With
a strong gay & lesbian employee network, the Rochester,
N.Y.-based company received a perfect score from the
Human Rights Campaign and is known as a gay-friendly
company.
