Bausch & Lomb Presents Supplier Diversity Recognition Awards

Bausch & Lomb presented its first annual Supplier Diversity Recognition Awards to three suppliers and two employees at a recognition ceremony at the Company’s World Headquarters on March 31.
The awards, presented as part of Bausch & Lomb’s Supplier Diversity Development Program, recognize significant contributions made by suppliers and employees of the Company towards Bausch & Lomb's commitment to building relationships with diverse suppliers, including minority-owned, women-owned and other diverse enterprises. Bausch & Lomb's Supplier Diversity Development Program was developed to help the Company identify diverse suppliers in order to expand its ability to exceed customers’ expectations with world-class quality, service, cost and technology.
Bausch & Lomb honored three suppliers for excellence in customer service, quality, speed of delivery and competitive value.
- Miami commercial printing firm Vista Color Corp., Henry Serrano, president, received the Bausch & Lomb Minority Business Enterprise Supplier of the Year Award.
- Rochester advertising firm Partners + Napier, Sharon Napier, president and CEO, received the Bausch & Lomb Woman-Owned Business Enterprise Supplier of the Year.
- Staples, Inc., of Framingham, Mass., National Advantage Division, Judy Smith, Northeast Regional vice president, received the Bausch & Lomb Corporate Citizenship Supplier of the Year.
“Bausch & Lomb’s quality standards and products have established us as a worldwide leader in eye health products,” said DeRoy Bryant, director of the Bausch & Lomb Supplier Diversity Development Program. “An effective and diverse supplier base is a key component to maintaining our position in a competitive marketplace.”
Two Bausch & Lomb employees received awards for excellence in leadership and supplier/employee advocacy.

and Procurement, of Rochester, received the Bausch
& Lomb Supplier Diversity Executive Advocate of
the Year Award.
- Brian
Schankat, senior buyer – Global Sourcing and
Procurement, of Rochester, received the Bausch &
Lomb Buyer Advocate of the Year Award.
