Rodney J. Williams Joins Bausch & Lomb as VP - Marketing, U.S. Surgical

Rodney J. Williams has joined Bausch & Lomb as vice president of Marketing for the U.S. surgical business with responsibility for the refractive, cataract and vitreoretinal product lines. He is based in San Dimas and reports to Thomas A. Dunlap, vice president and general manager of the U.S. surgical business.

"Rodney brings experience across a broad spectrum of complex medical technologies," said Tom. "His leadership, creativity, fresh perspective and strong competitive drive will be a true asset to our U.S. surgical business."

Rodney joins Bausch & Lomb from Andromed Inc. in Montreal, where he was senior vice president, and president and chief executive officer? Andromed USA. He has more than 15 years of diversified experience in surgical; diagnostic imaging; cardiology; and pulmonary diagnostic instruments.

Prior to Andromed, Rodney was senior vice president, Sales and Field Service Operations at CardioNow Inc. in Carlsbad, California. Earlier in his career, he held a variety of increasingly responsible sales and marketing positions at Johnson & Johnson - Cordis Corporation, General Electric Medical Systems, and Baxter Healthcare International.

Rodney received an M.B.A. and a B.A. degree in Marketing from the University of Southern California. He attended the Executive Development Program at the University of Pennsylvania.
