David Satcher is Closing Keynote for Diversity 2004

the second person in history to have held both positions
of Surgeon General and Assistant Secretary for Health
simultaneously, David Satcher, MD, PhD, will present
the closing keynote for Diversity 2004 and also open
the post conference Health Care Symposium. Dr. Satcher
spearheaded the development of Healthy People 2010 which
included the elimination of racial and ethnic disparities
in health as one of its two goals. Since 2002, Dr. Satcher
has served as Director of the new National Center for
Primary Care at the Morehouse School of Medicine in
