 Our YMCA Scholarship for the Enhancement of Diversity allows the YMCA to cultivate outstanding minority youth and assist them with their college expenses. The 2011 recipient is
Miss Breanna Irons.
A 2009 graduate of Wilson Magnet High School, Breanna currently attends
SUNY Brockport, and hopes to pursue a degree in Computer InformationSystems. Her teachers, professors and fellow students describe Breanna as a dedicated student, who works hard and is committed to excellence.
She exemplifies the Y's core values of caring, honesty, respect and
responsibility, and is active in her church. Breanna is looking forward
to working at the Y's day camp this summer as a counselor. Please join
