Despite the increase in women in management roles, only one percent of all chief executives in Fortune 500 companies are
women. Career Development Services, a leader in women’s career programming, examined the barriers to women
advancing in the workplace and has developed a powerful series, woman2woman: Leadership in Action. This
innovative program was created to enhance women’s leadership capabilities while connecting them with other women
developing in their careers.
Our Program
This breakthrough program, with sessions one full day each month for eight months, includes access to other dynamic
leaders, women who understand the issues and know the path to successful leadership; personal time with a career coach
for individual growth; customized action learning and case studies on real issues; and strategic planning through an
individual leadership development plan.
Each session will begin with the presentation of course content followed by group discussion. During the afternoon of
each session, the group will participate in action learning sets, building skills based on real-life situations. Participants will
learn with other women and create a support system that continues after they return to the office. Certificates of
completion will be awarded to participants of the program.
The next woman2woman session will begin November 2, 2007.
