Al Sigl Center Announces New Name

In conjunction with its 47th Annual Meeting, Al Sigl Center announces a new name and unveils opportunities for growth as the Al Sigl Community of Agencies. Al Sigl board members, marketing volunteers and Dixon Schwabl Advertising Inc. guided the process to choose “Community of Agencies”. The new name fits the newly evolved identity, grown from a rich history of collaboration and support.

Al Sigl Community of Agencies recently created new levels of relationships - giving agencies flexibility in the choice of real-estate, business services and shared resources they seek. Member Agencies listed below share a host of services. The Al Sigl Community also includes Affiliates and Joint Venture Partners.

With growth beyond one central location, more flexible relationships with agencies, and plans to welcome additional organizations to the community network, the new name is in-step with a strategic plan that embraces change and growth, creating new possibilities.

Al Sigl was founded to support independent agencies working together with cost-effective real estate solutions to enable agencies to better provide services to children and adults with disabilities. Buoyed by ongoing community support, Al Sigl has expanded as the independent agencies grew to serve even more people. The Al Sigl Community of Agencies owns and occupies more than 650,000 square feet of specialized program and shared spaces on 6 campuses.

Al Sigl Community of Agencies is a collaborative network that provides resources to generate and sustain the successful growth of its independent non-profit human service Member Agencies. As a pioneering, collaborative enterprise, the Al Sigl Community provides Member Agencies with high-quality, cost-effective real estate and business services, as well as raising community awareness and philanthropic support.

The Member Agencies are:
CP Rochester
Epilepsy Foundation of Rochester-Syracuse-Binghamton

Rochester Hearing & Speech Center
Rochester Rehabilitation Center
Affiliates are: Mary Cariola Children’s Center and The Arc of Monroe County. Joint Ventures include: Center Information Services, Inc., Center Properties of Rochester, Inc., and Future Care Planning Services.
