Conference Overview
On October 2 & 3, 2011, the Workforce Diversity Network (WDN) will present its seventh major conference, The Power of Inclusion, at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. The focus of the event will be on the processes for and benefits of building diverse and inclusive organizations.
This is the seventh conference presented by the Workforce Diversity Network, which has organized some of the nation’s highest attended workforce diversity conferences. More than 3,000 people representing more than 200 companies and organizations from all over the country attended the previous conferences and we expect this event to build on that demonstrated success.
Why is It Important?
For your organization to achieve its maximum potential, it’s essential to understand the way diversity and inclusion are connected to how effective your people are, how well they work together and how well you are able to tap their talents and potential. Successful organizations create inclusive cultures where people are engaged in their work, know their ideas count and are respected for what they do.
Who Should Attend?
Employees, managers, senior executives and CEOs from companies and non-profit organizations including healthcare, educational institutions, and government agencies
who want to:
- Positively impact productivity, morale and organization results
- Interact with and learn from others facing similar challenges
- Take new ideas back to apply in their organizations
- Be inspired!
What Will Be Covered?
For years people have been talking about diversity and inclusion in terms of programs and initiatives, but diversity is about results. Learn how to achieve the results you want.
